M Vermeesch

M. Vermeesch has been a passionate cyclist since the age of five, spending countless hours racing around his parents' house. Growing up on the Belgian coastline, he initially disliked the constant wind, but his perspective changed when he got his first mountain bike. This sparked a love for mountain biking that continues to this day. Later, he also ventured into road cycling, although he didn't ride extensively at first.

As he pursued his studies and started working, his passion for cycling waned, though he still commuted by bike frequently. In 2018, everything changed when he bought his first high-end race bike. This rekindled his passion, leading to intense training and reaching a commendable level of fitness, which he has maintained over the years.

The year 2022 marked another fitness milestone with the introduction of the Kickr and Zwift into his training regimen. In 2023, he embarked on a memorable bikepacking adventure and participated in the Roc du Maroc MTB endurance event in Morocco.

Looking ahead to 2025, Vermeersch plans to participate in more races, including gravel races, where he believes his skills on unpaved roads will give him an edge. He is committed to further improving his fitness, dedicating the necessary hours to achieve his goals. His journey reflects a deep-seated love for cycling and a continuous drive to push his limits.
