N.Tate Smith has been passionate about sports from a very young age, excelling in tennis, athletics, and bouldering. However, cycling has always held a special place in his heart.

Tate Smith's journey in cycling truly began four years ago when his neighbor sold him an old 2011 Giant road bike. This sparked a deep love for the sport, which only grew stronger despite a setback from a crash with a truck. Undeterred, Tate Smith quickly got back on the saddle with a new bike and continued his cycling adventures.

This year, Tate Smith's dedication to cycling has reached new heights. Joining the Hors Catégorie cycling club has significantly increased his drive and performance. He currently rides the Tour de Huldenberg at an impressive average speed of 31 km/h.

Tate Smith has long been inspired by the BCF challenge and is excited to join the Mannekes men's racing team. He aspires to emulate the style of Belgian cycling idol Wout Van Aert, aiming to be a super domestique while also seizing opportunities for victories.
