E. Maxson

E. Maxson was born in Brussels to American, English, and Czech parents. She studied civil and biomedical engineering at LLN and worked in Belgium for a year. Her athletic journey began in 2008 with ultimate frisbee, a sport she has passionately pursued ever since. E. Maxson has been a part of both the women's and mixed national teams for several years.

From 2017 to the end of 2022, Maxson lived in the USA, where she discovered her love for cycling and transitioned from biomedical engineering to environmental engineering. She traded her old car for her first road bike, and it was an exhilarating experience—so fast and thrilling! She continues to play ultimate frisbee, but with this year being an off year for the national teams, she is eager to invest more time in cycling and racing.

Maxson loves going fast, pushing her limits, and making countless jokes (most of which are silly). She has signed up for the Liège-Bastogne-Liège race, so she is committed to training hard. She is excited to meet the team and contribute her energy and enthusiasm to the Jeannekes Women's Racing Team.
